I was listening to an ecclectic mix of music on my new phone, this was also good.
I stopped at the tattooist at lunch time, to see about new tattoo, they didnt have what I was looking for, not so good.
I bought lunch, this was very good
I got accosted by 15 year old chav, wanting fags but failing that my sausage roll, this was WTF?
Had small chat with pint size chav who decided to punch me.....but managed instead to put his weeny hand in mind for crushing, this was funny
Finished eating sausage roll and wandered off wondering what else suprising could happen.
Phoned bunch of estate agents about houses on their websites, to be told they had all gone some time ago, not good
Wondered why they dont update their websites.
Had e-response from one estate agents saying please dont mail us we only deal with people over the phone, it was an email from you website, I mean dude!!??!
Found a couple of houses to look at, called agents, was told by the agents that one was a bit tired and I shouldnt waste my time.........ummm go salesmanship......on the upside they did point out some rather nice property.
Out of 24 houses, managed to get a viewing for one.......
Rather keen about seeing folks and the G next week.
Also keen about doing fire for it, so if anyone can do fire and hasnt got hold of me yet please post!
(Lisa, Gemma, Meg, Jam, Buxton and me at present). If anyone can get hold of Jackson and Will could they ask them to contact me or post here about it.
Ok folks, are there any people out there who perform with fire or who do fire spotting and safety for those that do that are going to the Gathering?
If you would be interested in perhaps performing if you could drop me an email on ciaronh@yahoo.co.uk that would be great, will then see if there is interest and sort out details.
Was a pretty good event, restaurant was nicely busy and we had some nice compliments as well, a couple from folks who are OOC chefs, as well as a few folks who thought we must be chefs in real life. So I figure the cooking team, Jam, Meg and Gary should be pretty darn chuffed at all of those comments.
The party bookings were great and Claire and Jam were pretty awesome doing fire. The banter between Jam and I in the last act felt really cool as well, will have to nab him one weekend to work on it properly!
Did lots of diploming and sorting out problems for people as well as answering prayers. Was really chuffed to get back to camp from one mission to be told that there had been a supplication about me which was pretty awesome.
All in all I think considering what we had to work with that it went pretty darn well. OK we bit the bullet and decided that we didnt want to put the legs on the pagoda, on the upside it did give one of our dispossessed groups somewhere to go an shelter in the end.
The guys running the laws and paperwork did an outstanding job, and everyone seemed to enjoy filling out forms with such a socialist feel.
While the endurance contest didnt get many folks entering, it being a little cold and windy at the time, those that did, still seemed to have fun. However the Sumo seemed to be a big hit with everyone.
Sunday night finished with fireworks and the big celestial gala which seemed to work really well (or at least we hope it did, only a few negative comments).
Got some cool ideas for events to come, for food and entertainments that we can look into.

Ok for those that didnt know, looks like my home PC died on wednesday, will have a proper look at it try figure out whats wrong with it this weekend.
However due to some shenanigans with BT have limited access to the net from work also. So if I dont answer mails at present, its probably due to not being able to read them.
This was posted from a hijacked PC.
So here are the concept sketches.

Watching the crazy guys, on bikes, quads and a skidoo demonstrate that the laws of gravity are perhaps a little more forgiving that you first thought, was a great way to pass three hours.
Course the queue to get out of the NIA wasnt so cool at all, and so we left the car for an extra half an hour and went in search of Burito's instead.
All in all, we were made of win!

Ok it is an odd question, but does anyone have a recipie for hand stretch noodles....ie ones made by folding dough over and over to make noodles, rather than cutting or using a machine?
Buzz buzz, I am Coffee flavoured.I am popular in the workplace, even though I am often bitter. I am energetic to the point of being frenetic; buzz buzz, out of my way. I tend to overwork myself and need periods of recovery time. What Flavour Are You? |
Many happy returns, hope you have a great day :D
